OrangePixel, the developer behind Gunslugs, Heroes of Loot, and Spacegrunts, has formally announced their new title with a 25 second teaser trailer, as visible below.

The title has been visibly in the works since just after Heroes of Loot 2 released in June of last year, however only recently became known as Ashworld, spending a surprising amount of time unnamed, and some fleeting weeks known as Ragelaw.
The title takes a Mad Max-esque, post-apocalyptic setting and inserts OrangePixel’s signature art style, with the game playing out mostly from the nigh isometric view we see in the trailer (in vehicle, through scopes, or on foot) with interior settings done in the side-on view.
It’s been interesting watching it develop, especially since the developer has stated several times that they’re not a fan of open-world games. Despite that it looks explosive, manic, and fun; all good things.
You can follow the rest of the game’s development over on the OrangePixel twitter, where we’ll hopefully soon see a release date and confirmation of which platforms it will release for (although OrangePixel’s track record shows most mobile, alongside PC).
Looks a bit more like Ash Williams than Max Rockatansky.
Yeah, there is /that/ haha.
