Escape from Tarkov: Arena Season 2 – Casus Belli Is Out Now and it’s Looking Promising
Escape From Tarkov: Arena Season 2 will be released today, following an update, bringing with it the much awaited Season 2 battlepass and associated rewards.
Battlestate Games’ recent adaptation of Tarkov into a more competitive formula — through Arena — has seen it thriving, and the addition of battle passes has given players another reason to return. With the release of the third season (Season 2 is technically the third iteration as the first was labelled as Season 0) comes new cosmetic rewards, gun customisations and unlocks — as well as more content that you can use in both Arena and Escape From Tarkov.
The previous season of Arena was an exciting mix that introduced the Customs tactical map — a much smaller (yet deadlier) series of seasonal locations — as well as new tasks which gave people a chance to earn even more rewards for participating. Season 2 has an all new (to Arena) yet familiar set of locations this time, with the new Tactical Map being based around The Factory from the main game. This will also be available to purchase separately and feature its own unique rewards.
Escape From Tarkov is no stranger to events and neither is Arena, with one of the more prominent in the main game being the Duck Hunt event, paired with Escape From Duckov. The Casus Belli main game event preceded the release of Season 2 and offered a chance to snag some otherwise season locked gear for the main game.
After some interesting rewards in Season 1, such as the fun, Miami themed cosmetics, “Casus Belli” will have its own unique rewards, including the following, as taken from a recent message from Battlestate’s socials:
- Saiga-12K “Redline” automatic shotgun with a unique design;
New collimator sights and weapon modules;
New tactical clothing and weapon camouflages;
A full set of equipment: helmets, body armor, chest rigs, and armored rigs, including the new FORT “Gladiator-S” chest rig in various versions;
Lega medals and “Echo Belli” cases for EFT: Arena.
Escape From Tarkov: Arena Season 2 is out today alongside the Factory Tactical Map, which can be purchased on the Battlestate Website or, if you own the main game, on Steam as well.
