Pigeon: A Love Story is a simple, romantic game about you flying around a huge world of birds, trying to find your perfect mate by screaming out to millions of other birds, hoping that the right one hears you and wants to be with you. This is done by using your actual microphone, if you wish, belting out bird call while trying to see if any of the pigeons react to those sound waves.
It’s an interesting game that we got the chance to check out at an event earlier this year:
“On the other hand, it was a surprisingly freeing experience, just making my way through the skies and occasionally calling out for the one of the thousands of birds that I had to find. I guess, in that same way, it was quite a thoughtful and lonely experience – something not dissimilar to living in a busy city – where you can pass by hundreds of people on a street, yet not connect with a single one of them.”
In Pigeon: A Love Story, you are able to fly around a bunch of real-life cities, seeing landmarks from places like London, Amsterdam and New York, just to name a few, where there are millions of birds that you can call out to as you attempt to find your match.
There is also a two player mode where you can try to find your other player or play together and both try to find your bird-mate that’s flying out there!
As of now, Pigeon: A Love Story is out now on both Mobile and PC, so you can download the game and take a look for yourself.
