New Serial Cleaner Trailer Reminds us of its Existence, Pokes Fun at Industry

iFun4All have release a new trailer for their latest game, Serial Cleaner, which is currently in Early Access over on Steam.

The trailer facetiously jabs at various features of the games industry that have come to prominence this year; hype, day-one patches, and misleading trailers, as well as an overt focus on review scores.

In keeping with the subject matter, however, the trailer is about 90% free of actual gameplay -while no doubt intending to be ironic- which does rather miss the point of a trailer. Still, it is a good chuckle.

For those unaware of Serial Cleaner, the game’s a story-driven stealth game set in a heavily stereotyped 1970s setting, complete with a very pleasing art-style. That, of course, is to be expected from the team behind Green Game & Red Game from earlier in the year. There’s a blurb for it from the press release, and the trailer, below.

“You are a professional cleaner. Your job is to clean up murder scenes by disposing bodies, covering up blood stains and hiding murder weapons and other incriminating evidence.”
