Minecraft is coming to Alton Towers Resort

0

Minecraft, an extremely popular video game that basically every single household knows about, has been doing a number of real-life experiences in England. Last year, we went to the Minecraft Experience in London, and this year they’ve announced the Minecraft Meet the Mobs at Alton Towers Resort – just in time for the summer.

From July 18th to August 28th, guests will be able to see their favorite mobs from Minecraft come to life; with hands on encounters with creepers, axolotls, baby panadas and a bunch of other mobs that are featured within the game itself. These mobs are going to be on the Mobs Trail, which is aimed to be a journey through game-inspired settings in search of mob babies. They are different challenges on this trail that can be achieved to get a digital, in-game reward. I would image this would work similar to the Pirate Takeover event, giving players a bunch of challenges led by members of staff to complete.

There will also be meet and greets featuring mobs like Creeper, Iron Golem, Chicken Jockey, Chick, Axolotl, Baby Panda and Wolf Pup. This sounds pretty interesting and it will be neat seeing how these, presumably costumed, people look. There will also be a Minecraft Hub, where you can find the full program of activities, along with themed snacks and exclusive merchandise.

We will see what the full Minecraft Meet the Mobs at Alton Tower Resort looks like closer to the time, but it does sound exciting for the summer!
