LaserCat Steam Page now Live, Release Date Confirmed
MonsterJail’s LaserCat, easily one of the greatest Xbox Live Indie Games, has finally gotten itself a release date and Steam Page following its successful Kickstarter back in February of this year.
LaserCat, a snazzy, retro, Jet Set Willy inspired platformer is set to release for Windows on Steam in just under a week, on the 8th of December.
The information comes as clarified by the developer following the game’s Steam Page going live, meaning the game can be added to wishlists, or followed for more information.

The developer initially intended to add the Halloween special to the game for free, however there is no indication on the page as to whether this content has made it into the game.
I, personally, found the game to be absolutely outstanding; with the simple sounding objective of recovering keys from around a (225 screen) large castle filled with various enemies, traps, and shortcuts. It managed to take the classic style of Jet Set Willy and add a thick layer of humour and self-awareness to it using the level names, as well as jokey questions you have to answer on collection of each key.
LaserCat originally launched on the Xbox Live Indie Games store, and is also available over on MonsterJail’s itch.io page.
