It Takes Two is a very much loved, narrative-driven co-op game where you and your friend are solving puzzles and working together as two parents that are also working through some real-life issues. It’s a game that I’ve seen people play and played myself – before it won several awards! Now. It Takes Two is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and those who have a Nintendo Switch can expect a free upgrade.

Along with the launch on Nintendo Switch 2, players will be able to play together, across platform, even if they don’t own the game. Using the Free Friend’s Pass, if one person owns the game, another can play as the second player without actually purchasing a copy. If you own a Nintendo Switch, you can also update It Takes Two for free, to the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version of It Takes Two has frame rate improvements, a smoother visual effect, and lots of visual updates that just make it all feel good to see. You can also find the Free Friend’s Pass in this update, so those who play on other devices or use GameShare can play together.
