What do we like most about it?
It’s always nice to see a new 3D Platformer, especially one that is built well, appearing on greenlight. It’s a very strange twist of fate that we’re now looking at one that’s a remaster of a thirteen year old title that originally launched exclusively for Microsoft’s original Xbox.
Voodoo Vince, for those unaware, sees you playing as a voodoo doll who attacks opponents by dodging, fighting and using voodoo powers found throughout the game to defeat your foes; all while exploring a really quirky, odd world full to the brim with nooks and crannies to explore, and platforming puzzles to overcome.
While the project to remaster was undertaken and started by the original developers of the project, hopefully this will also serve as a strong nudge to console platforms that some of their old IPs could make a decent amount of money, and impact, on the evergreen PC platform.
When’s it due?
Voodoo Vince: Remastered is currently listed for release on Windows PC in early 2017.
