What’s the 30 second elevator pitch?
A wacky multiplayer racing game where you each set traps before the race, and then smash, flip, and barge your way around a variety of looping maps.
What do we like most about it?
Any racing game that features crashing and barging normally gets a feature here, however the fact that it 1) is multiplayer, and 2) has players customise the track with traps before they set out, means it simply had to feature here.
Normally banger-racing or games of the sort suffer at the hands of handling and physics, the former is addressed in the game as you can tweak your vehicle throughout the game. As for the latter, the physics are wacky for certain, although from what’s been shown collision and mass are managed well.
Most important for some, when the game launches it will do so for free.
When’s it due?
Rattletrap Racing is listed as ready for release, when it does launch it will do so for Windows PC.
