A pandemic has decimated the human race, you must command the survives to make Nyheim a secure home for the remains of the race, and a start of a new future.
What do we like most about it?
Nyheim, as fans of the mobile version will know, is a well developed, well balanced, and fully realised attempt at creating a survival game that mimics the intricacies of a board game will benefiting from the automation procedures of video games.
The game is extremely hard to put down once you’ve started, and although very tough you rarely feel as though you can’t through some stroke of good function clamber back to the top of the pile. Most turns are decisions, and while not as extreme or tightly timed as Pandemic, XCOM and Dead of Winter, it certainly does do a good job of keeping the tension up.
When’s it due?
Nyheim is already greenlit at time of writing; the developers are expecting to release the game for Windows PC & Mac in early 2017.
