Drofromantik launches the Medieval Biome Pack

0

Dorfromantik has launched a new medieval biome pack, which brings lots of new medieval vibes to their cozy puzzle game, featuring seasonal biomes and reimagined landmarks. It’s currently on sale until June 9th, if you like their style.

Previously, we reviewed Dorfromantik:

Dorfromantik is not a game that you will sit down and plug away at for hours. It’s a game to be enjoyed in bite-size pieces. Twenty minutes here, half an hour there. A chance to escape into your own little world for a short period of time and let your mind relax a bit. As the game progresses through early access towards a full release I don’t doubt that more game modes and more landscape pieces will add plenty of longevity and depth to the game in terms of options and potential. In its current form it is still worth picking up (especially as there is a launch discount on GOG and Steam until the 1st April). Treat your brain to a little therapy.”

This new, cosmetic DLC brings 10 iconic special tiles helping you take a leap back in time; a castle, a horse-drawn mechanical coach, and a sailing shop. There are also three new medieval seasonal biomes for summer, autumn and winter. These visuals aren’t the only features in the DLC: Dorfromantik also has two new music tracks inspired by the medieval theme as well.

These new biomes and seasons bring a fresh perspective to the map, changing up the feel of the game with a nice little overhaul, if you’ve gotten a bit tired of its normal visage.
