Developer, Motion Twin have put a developer diary, or as they are titling it, a vlog which features three minutes of gameplay for their Dead Cells title.
Dead Cells is a rogue-like, metroidvania action-platformer that looks fantastically stunning. The style looking dark, and retro, with the effects looking smooth and glorious and combat that seems rather fluid and powerful.
The developer diary mentions about the Steam page finally going up, and also mentions about PC Gamer Weekender, the gaming event that took place over the weekend just gone. Dann, one of our EiC’s attended and will writing up his impressions with his time with Dead Cells at the event.
Dead Cells will be arriving sometime in the Spring of 2017 and features a very unique backtracking through death system, which I’m confident will be mentioned in Dann’s write up sometime soon.
