Book Nook is the second game from the developers behind Camper Van: Make it Home have created a new cozy game, this time inspired by bookends. They’ve recently revealed a new trailer and have announced that the game will be launching on Nintendo Switch (with compatibility for Switch 2) as well as PC.

We previously previewed Book Nook on Indie Games Plus:

“It’s fun seeing all of the different decorations and tiny details in the worlds that are created in Book Nook. There isn’t any sort of timer or scoring at the end of the levels, so there is a cozy aspect within that. The game is also just stunning – hand drawn with beautiful aspects to it that make sense and look good. You can very much customise some of the spots of these items, if they’ve got more than one place within the puzzle.”

‘Book Nook’ has you creating tiny worlds

Book Nook does feel like it would make sense for Nintendo Switch, especially when it comes to tapping the screen and dragging things into place – which can be done on the console’s touch screen. It’s a cozy game that’s best played wrapped up on the couch, which also matches the console.

The new trailer shows more of the various bookends that you will be able to put together, along with the characters that come to life and continue the story. You can decorate the dioramas the way you want, using a variety of different items, and see what this little story brings to life.
