The reality-bending premise of All the Delicate Duplicates is strong, and even with some errors, it was deeply satisfying to uncover clues in the small but ever-changing environment.
You run into monsters called grievances in the shrines and you and your crew battle them with magic.
The world-building in the story is flawless thanks to the game’s keen interest in community and attention to detail.
As you travel from planet to planet your crew is exposed to all sorts of dangers, and no one’s survival is guaranteed.
While there’s something to be said for forcing the player to be a monster, there’s also something to be said for self-awareness and originality.
