Multiverse Military Shooter Active Matter now has a demo on Xbox
Active Matter, the intense, realistic military shooter set in a fractured multiverse, where you must fight through unstable zones, through time and space that are bending around you, has made the jump from PC to Xbox with a free demo until June 30th.
We previously reviewed the PC version of Active Matter:
“Although Active Matter is in its infancy, the gunplay can be a bit janky at times with some having quite crazy recoil that seems to hike up and shoot bursts of fire all over the place. Most of the time it’s not too bad, but a lot of the automatic guns are your only hope against some of the more horde-like enemies such as the hounds or flower men. After one of these monsters begins to hunt you, it’s only a matter of time before you are swarmed and eaten.
The builds that are available for classes are very interesting as well with the option to make all sorts of focused classes based on characters and then individual skills that you unlock by refining monster parts to then add to your character and use. ”
Active Matter – Getting Vertical With A New Extraction Shooter
As a part of the Indie Selects Demo Fest, which started at the weekend, players can now download a demo of Active Matter from the Microsoft Store, without needing an Xbox Game Pass subscription. It’s completely free, no strings attached, so you can get a taste of the console port (or the game for the first time, if you’ve not played on PC) without strings attached.
The full version of Active Matter on Xbox will include all of the game modes planned for the full version. To make things better, any of the progress earned during the demo time will be saved and carried over to the full Xbox version when the game launches, so you can get a bit of a head start now and keep everything you’ve accomplished. This game will come to Steam later this year as well, followed by the console release.
