Trash Goblin, the award winning cosy shopkeeping game from Spilt Milk Studios, has announced its first major DLC, The Artist of Brimhaven. It’s scheduled for release on May 7th.
The main focus on the DLC will be on the brand new storyline set in Brimhaven which will have you creating and selling “art” to some of the locals utilising the new tools available to you. You will bring life back to the town one trinket at a time with over five hours of new content and can also earn five new achievements for your time in the game.
The DLC isn’t the only thing coming out on the 7th of May, alongside its release will be the massive 1.5 update called The Makers Fortune, as well as a brand new tool for anyone with the game called Hugh. This tool will let you switch colours as well as materials for any of the items available in the game to truly add your own flair to some interesting works. It will also feature another 54 new trinkets, five more new achievements and Hungarian localisation.
There will be a new paid cosmetic pack available alongside each of these releases, called the Found Family Cosmetic Pack, featuring:
- A variety of cosmetics based around fan-favourite characters Donoval, Aunty, Mushromeo, Mycelle & Jaq
- 10 bedding variants
- 10 wallpaper variants
- 5 customer mat variants
- 5 workmat variants
- 5 bedpipe
- 5 shop signs
As if this week isn’t big enough for Spilt Milk Studios, they’ve also hit the 100,000 copies sold milestone for Trash Goblin; A pretty good sign ahead of the rapidly approaching DLC launch.
To celebrate the announcement, Trash Goblin will be claimable for free for an entire week on the Epic Games store in line with the 1.5 release, so there’s no excuse to not dive in and enjoy the new content that’ll be available.
