Tony Hawk Moving Away From Activision, Possibly Bringing Another Game With Another Dev
The Tony Hawks Pro Skater games have always been a good bit of fun, but the most recent, and last title, THPS5 didn’t do especially well. As it turns out though, Tony Hawks has stated he’s moving on with another developer.
Activision are going to no longer be bringing Tony Hawks games from the sound of Tony Hawk’s interview with Jemken Magazine, where he explains a lot of details about his skating game series with Neversoft and Activision, but then when asked if there are plans for more games in the series he drops the mention,
“Not from Activision. I’m potentially working on something but it’s so early I couldn’t talk about it. I don’t have any contracts signed but it’s exciting. I feel like it’s with the right people so I should know more in the next couple months.”
So while there are no details we are open to speculation. A discussion amongst our team led to, at the time when EA Senior Manager tweeted out, “#Skate4” that Tony Hawks could possibly be heading in that direction, but it was confirmed that Skate 4 isn’t happening.
So just who could Tony Hawks be going with? Thoughts?
