SFB Games, the creators of Tangle Tower, have announced a sequel to the mysterious, narrative-based puzzle game; The Mermaid Mask – a new point and click adventure game within the same realm and series.

The Mermaid Mask is a witty, atmospheric new instalment in the beloved Detective Grimoire series. You get to become Detective Grimoire, with their partner Sally, to unravel the truth around a dead captain found in his submarine. In the small fishing town, that’s been long-abandoned by modern people, this murder has accrued – but there is lots of mystery around what is going on.
You must investigate an impossible locked-room murder, explore a hand-crafted submarine filled with secrets, interrogate a bunch of fully voice-acted suspects that all have their own unique personality, and listen to the light-hearted British humour sprinkled around the dark themes of this game. Clues are given through fully 3D objects, which can be rotated and examined for hidden secrets, adding a lot of interest and depth onto this mystery.
This game can be played on it’s own, even if you’ve not played others within the same series, and you’ll still find a lot of mystery and discovery within this world.
The Mermaid Mask is a very interesting offering, coming to PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation on July 16th.
