Ubisoft today released a story trailer for next year’s South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
The latest trailer for 2017’s South Park: The Fractured But Whole, titled “The Coon Conspiracy,” finally gives us a peek at the story that will be driving the upcoming RPG from Ubisoft.
While we already knew that the game would centre around the boys and their superhero exploits -and that it was pretty safe to assume that Tweek would be the villain- the still marks the first time we see the ‘origin’ point of the game – Cartman’s quest for a missing cat named Scrambles… and to save the universe.
A full description via Ubisoft can be found below:
Evil stirs in the town of South Park and The Coon has sworn to clean up the trash can of society. When the Coon and Friends investigate the disappearance of a local cat, they discover the threat is far greater than any of them realized. Allied with the mysterious New Kid and his magical butthole, will the intrepid group of Super Heroes be able to harness their amazing powers and save the town?
The game was originally set to release this month, however the team requested more time to perfect the game – which is completely understandable – and so it has been delayed to a placeholder ‘Q1 2017’ release date.
When it does launch it will do so for PC, Xbox One & PS4.
