Paradox Detail Crusader Kings II Monks and Mystics Patch Ahead of Content Launch
Paradox have issued the full patch list for the upcoming, free Crusader Kings II version 2.7 patch. The patch will deploy tomorrow (the 7th of March) alongside the release of the upcoming Monks and Mystics expansion.
Among the extensive patch notes there’s a few things definitely worthy of pointing out, specifically several map tweaks including shifts in the Danube, Indus, Ganges as well as tweaks to several mountain ranges and de jure lands. The character finder has also undergone tweaks, as well as the intrigue screen.
It’s not just quality of life tweaks, the ability to mass-embark has finally been added to the game, Conclave has had some fixes (so you can see what type of voting council member your potential advisers will be), and -obviously- cults and secret faiths have been added into the core game.
There’s a vastly more extensive list over on the Paradox forums, which you can find here.
It’s all in aid of bringing the core experience up ready for the expansion pack that launches at the same time, which will allow players to quest for relics, join secret societies, and get up to various other mischief. As ever, players with and without the DLC will be able to play with each other in multiplayer, although -obviously- only with applicable features.
You’ll be able to buy the DLC on Paradox’ store, or through Steam.
