In this, the first part of our fourth Big Boss Babble podcast, we discuss the recently released trailer for Shenmue 3 from YS Net and Yello, specifically the negative reaction it’s received.
The long awaited title has received an amazing level of funding as well as additional r resources from Sony & Deep Silver, despite this the trailer left a lot of people feeling very disappointed.
The team discuss the possible reasons for the style of the trailer, with Dann arguing that the trailer may have been rushed out early to appease investors, while Terry juxtaposes that the once groundbreaking visuals may in fact be a visual style like in his recent favourite Sonic Mania.
Jorge led the topic while Terry, Dann & Toby kept asking people if they remembered seeing a black car speed past on the day the snow turned to rain.
