Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a triumphant piece of 80’s nostalgia
The MARVEL Cosmic Invasion Cyclops and The Thing is true to the name – you can play as the Fantastic Four’s The Thing and X-Men’s Cyclops alongside the other heroes that are featured in the base game. Cyclops is ideal for countering aerial enemies, as he attacks through energy beams that can be shot diagonally into the air. On the other hand, The Thing is a powerhouse, bouncing and jumping across the environments, looking to destroy enemies on the ground. This pair feel balanced in the DLC and work well together, adding in two iconic characters that are well worth getting.
MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is looking to have another LDC launching in the Fall of 2026, which will offer a new game mode and more playable characters (including villains) to continue to spice up the game.
