What’s the 30 second elevator pitch?
Play as Don Ramiro, a knight sent off by King Alphonse IV of Castile to defeat the great evil that is invading the kingdom via Tolomera del Rey.
What do we like most about it?
The artwork, animation, and music of the game perfectly channels the humble influences of the game in Ghouls & Ghosts, and any fan of older adventure titles will find it hard to resist the selection of enemies, and their variety of moves, on show in the trailer. If you’re a bit of a soft touch for a 2D game loaded with boss fights – like myself – then the 19 spread throughout the game should keep you more than entertained.
Some of you might recognise the game, the original is a good few years old now, and the EX version actually got a release as an Xbox One exclusive a short while back.
When’s it due?
Maldita Castilla EX doesn’t yet have a release date, however when it does launch it will do so for Windows PC, Mac & Linux.
