What type of game is it?

Town Builder & Clan Management

What’s the 30 second elevator pitch?

Lead your clan of hunter-gatherer goblins to… become the biggest clan of hunter-gatherer goblins through trade, war, pillaging or worship.

What do we like most about it?

Not only does the game look like a really solid town-management game, but there’s also a lot of story options and features in it that seem to transcend most of the genre’s offerings. The little story moments that the game offers, as well as the fact you can play almost entirely passively to the rest of the world, immediately looks to give this game a rarely found combination of replayability and accessibility.

I’m also quite partial to games that don’t operate on grid-based systems, and so GoE’s freeform dropping, and generated bridges/pathways system has got me very intrigued.

Goblins of Elderstone is currently live over on Kickstarter, if this is the type of game that interests you then head over there to find out a bit more information on what they are planning to offer in the final product.

When’s it due?

Goblins of Elderstone is currently listed for release in July 2017 on Windows PC.
