Football Manager 26 now has international management
Football Manager 26’s long awaited International Management update has now been released, in line with the 2026 FIFA World Cup which will be held this Summer, in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
We previously reviewed Football Manager 26:
“Whether you’re guiding a non-league club to glory or managing egos at a European giant like Leeds United, Football Manager 2026 offers a sandbox of stories, strategies, and surprises. This is still much more than a game — it’s a complete lifestyle choice, and one that I am generally glad to see returning with a fresh lick of paint and more than a few new tricks up its sleeve.”
Football Manager 2026 returns bigger and better – but as familiar as ever
This feature update, released for all versions of Football Manager 2026, doesn’t just add in the new managment system, but also in-game improvements and other new tools to refresh the game.
The National Team Manager update includes improved squad building functionality, match preparation training and a new quick-start option that allows players to get straight to the action of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Along with the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup season, Football Manager 2026 is also introducing women’s national team management for the first time, in addition to save game compatibility with Football Manager ’23 and Football Manager ’24.
This new content has continued to shape Football Manager 2026, which is already a very realistic simulation game. Having these additional events added to the game, as they happen in real life, gives players and fans the ability to get in on the action – which is always welcome. Their continued effort to recognise women’s football as equal to male football is also incredibly impressive, and something that really didn’t seem like it would ever happen in video games just a few years ago.
This update for Football Manager 2026 is avaialble now on mobile, PC, Xbox and Playstation.
