Edifier has bought out its next iteration of speakers with the Edifier MR5, a very hefty pair of speakers for general use in pretty much any way you can think of, from anywhere between your television set to a personal desktop.
The MR5s feature Bluetooth multi-point connectivity, letting multiple devices connect to it at any one time, which can be great for letting multiple people connect to it and switch between songs or sounds and also features a AUX port as well as pretty much any other form of connection you would ever need with a pair of speakers.
Much like Edifiers headphones the MR5 can also be controlled through the Edifier app to tweak your sound experience but if you’re a fan of just changing things on the fly, no other devices needed, you’ll be happy to find a number of tunable dials and settings on the rear of the device so you can manually change the highs and lows as and when you need.
The speakers come in two different colours, black and white following a similar colour scheme to the other edifier devices. It’s also good to point out that the price point compared to the previous models is almost double that of the MR4 but does offer a very clear and crisp audio experience however I’m not sure it warrants double the price over the previous model.
