Gray Zone Warfare has been in Early Access since April of 2024 and is finally entering alpha with the 0.5 update being released in the fall of 2026. With Lamang having a recent resurgence in players and Madfinger Games keeping the momentum the 0.5 alpha release is sure to lull players back into its chaotic warzone.

The new trailer highlighting some of the new additions to Gray Zone Warfare was featured at the first ever FPS-Games Show along with a number of other titles that all focus around first person shooters and featured a number of existing and upcoming titles from like-minded studios.

The alpha release will feature a new gameplay loop, rich environments with carefully crafted details, a deeper look into the mystery of Ground Zero as well as more opportunities to find higher tier loot all paired together with carefully balanced gunplay and faction based combat.

With a 42²km map there’s plenty of opportunities to explore, follow quests, and get into gunfights. With the extraction mechanic keeping you grounded in the world with constant helicopter pickups/drop-offs you’ll be able to traverse the massive world at ease and work with teammates to take territory on a much larger scale war.

With a total of seven enemy factions, three playable mercenary groups, two game modes and over 220 missions available there will be no shortage of content to keep you busy as you blaze your way across Lamang. Gray Zone Warfare prides itself on being a constant flowing state of combat, the world is consistently open, activity is always happening whether it’s against players or AI and missions are always available.

To celebrate the occasion of the alpha release and reaching 1.7 million sales, Gray Zone Warfare is currently 30% on all it’s versions on Steam until the 15th of September and can be found on Steam for PC below.
