Gaming For Others Set For Weekend Fundraising
Gaming For Others is a Warwickshire based charity event in which a collection of gamers play games continuously until the donations stop coming in.
The event begins at 10am on the 14th April (TODAY!) and will see a group of gamers, two of who are actually writers here, Kate, and Pete! And they will be taking part in a marathon of gaming, and the more people donate to the charity, the more they all play games on the live stream.
The live stream will be taking place HERE and they have a selection of “bonuses” for people to donate a specific sum and get an event. For example, £10 will see a Goldeneye Deathmatch, £20 a Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes Level, and £28 to see, Ant dance in a stinky dress, The games that will be played are hidden behind stretch goal unlocks, with Super Mario Galaxy already being available, and even Resident Evil 7, and then other games becoming unlocked the more money is raised. £1,500 will see the final game becoming unlocked.
All donations can be made to THIS PAGE
This will be Gaming For Other’s sixth marathon event, and will see funds being raised for SpecialEffect, a charity dedicated to changing the lives of those who love games, or would like to love games by allowing them the means to play games with ease. It’s a great charity, and certainly worth tuning in and donating a small sum to help change the lives of other fellow gamers.
So don’t forget to tune into the live stream at 10am, head to the donation page and donate. You can follow them on Facebook or on Twitter, and well, join in on the chat and have a good time making them suffer.
