Stealth in Styx: Shards of Darkness Just Got a Lot Deeper, Gameplay Trailer Shows
Focus Home Interactive have released a new gameplay trailer of the upcoming Stealth title Styx: Shards of Darkness, the sequel to Cyanide Studio’s Styx: Master of Shadows from 2014.
Styx: Master of Shadows, launching March 2017, will add more than a change of scenery to the world of the first title. As the gameplay trailer released earlier this week shows the character’s cloning ability has received several changes including the ability to swap places with your clone, as well as the chance to cast it further afield.
There’s also now now the ability to make a trap which simply dissolved body on firing; meaning no need to hide a enemies body after despatching them. This new trap will be of not just stealth advantage but also tactical, as among the new enemy types within the game will be armoured foes who cannot be offed in melee combat, and also enemies who are too heavy to drag away.
You can find the new footage below.
Styx: Shards of Darkness launches in March 2017 for PS4, Xbox One & PC.
