13 Minutes of Uncut Space Hulk: Deathwing Gets Up Close and Personal with the ‘Nids

Focus Home Interactive, the publisher of upcoming Warhammer 40k shooter Space Hulk: Deathwing, have released a trailer showcasing just over 13 minutes of uncut gameplay for the upcoming title.

Space Hulk: Deathwing from Streum On Studio, and set to launch on December 9th, takes the increasingly popular co-operative shooter genre –think L4D, or Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide– and mixes it up with the Genestealers and big metal-clad chaps from the 40k setting.

While there’s certainly a little bit less, shall we say, personality to the playable characters of Deathwing, the whole game manages to capture an amazing sense of suspense and scale in it’s moments of silence, and vast ships.

Indeed, I have no doubt that a few carefully snapped screenshots of the gloomy, desolate interiors lined with their cages, bars, and odd technology, could easily be misconstrued by some a scene right out Alien; barring the banging and clanging of metallic boots rattling through the hollowed wrecks – of course.

Space Hulk: Deathwing launches on Steam on December 9th, with console launches (Xbox One, PS4) expected in early 2017.
