Power Stone, Dragon’s Dogma Director Announces Intent to Reveal New Title this Year
Hideaki Itsuno, a long serving project director at Capcom, announced -with his new year’s wishes- that he was intending to announce a new game in this coming year.
The director, who has served on the Power Stone, Rival Schools, Devil May Cry, and Dragon’s Dogma series, among others, however hasn’t had his named publicly attached to any projects since his time on the Dragon’s Dogma series.
It is known that at the start of 2016 the team from Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen were still together (having worked on Dragon’s Dogma Online in 2015) (PC Gamer), however there’s no sure guarantee that the sequel is on the way. Similarly, however, there’s no guarantee that he is no longer with the same team.
So far, Capcom’s line-up for 2017 includes Monster Hunter XX, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, and Resident Evil 7.
The tweet’s below.
