What’s the 30 second elevator pitch?

You are an immortal soul travelling through the various planes as to defeat the many demons that have claimed and corrupted the -procedurally laid out- lands.

What do we like most about it?

Kologeon joins the ranks of the Little Big Adventure boom that is doing astonishingly well; Hyper Light Drifter, Transistor, Titan Souls, Anodyne and many more are no doubt welcome company for the title. The big difference from those exceptional titles is the combat, Kologeon has a amazing, beautiful combat animations that make the small character into a big threat.

The whole game – from what we’ve seen so far – plays massively on the contrast of black and white, with the character inverting into a ghostly figure as they traverse from area to area about the levels, or the shadows that haunt certain areas of the game. It all looks wonderful. It also looks a little manic, but I’m sure that won’t be the case when I’m actually playing it.

When’s it due?

The game’s [Kickstarter] looks set to send out rewards and copies of the game in November 2017, it’s listed for PC, Mac & Linux at the moment.
