If you’re an avid card collector you’ll know that half the battle is how to store your collection safely while still leaving them accessible and usable (if you play the game that is) but with the Ultra Pro Apex Pokemon sleeves your cards can be stylish, usable and protected for decks of up to 105 cards.
The Ultra Pro Apex sleeves are themed after some of the biggest Pokemon in the series, mostly the three evolutions of the original starters, Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur. Each pack contains 105 sleeves and are great quality, being both flexible enough to easily slip cards in and out but remaining rigid at the edges to retain shape and let you slide into binders or deck boxes easily.
It’s important to point out that you don’t have to store Pokemon cards in these sleeves, if like me you’re a fan of Pokemon but play other card games these are perfectly viable to use with pretty much any other card game, I’ve actually sleeved my Sebulba Star Wars Unlimited deck with the Blastoise pack and they fit perfectly as well.
The Ultra Pro Apex sleeves come in a nice box with a slide out section for easy access, this can itself actually double up as a small deck box providing you don’t rip it and is actually quite sturdy itself. Each sleeve features a black silhouette with a coloured outline of the chosen Pokemon and the logo in the top right corner.
One thing to always take into account with sleeves, including the Ultra Pro ones, is that your deck’s physical size will be larger due to the added size of the sleeves so some deck boxes/storage may not be made to include them so do check that what you have can incorporate the extra size.
