Psychological Horror Investigation Dark Stream announced

Skystone Games have announced Dark Stream, which is a first-person psychological horror investigation game where you play as a disgraced content creator going through a haunted house.

While on a livestream, you are exploring a legendary, extremely spooky house – all while trying to get your views up to make this worth it. Through the environment you must find clues and piece together a haunting while also being a part of it. You’ve not got much experience with ghosts, moving objects, whispers making their way to your ears – nor are you prepared with only your computer and your flashlight.

Each time a paranormal event happens in Dark Stream, you must observe what is happening and then solve these puzzles, stabilizing the encounter to figure out the truth. As you solve more puzzles, the house itself will continue to turn hostile and unpredictable.

It actually also has fully integrated Twitch chat, which can react in real time to events discovered within the game, sometimes helping you and sometimes even costing you with their support. They might side with the house, feed into the chaos or just refuse to help as the game pulls your character apart.

Dark Stream is an extremely interesting concept, with a unique story that feels like something people might have seen in real life. There are lots of rooms to discover, horrors to face, and a larger story on why the house is violent, not just haunted, and what drives it to want to make sure you cannot make it out alive. The game promises to be intense, leaving players on the edge of the seat and viewers of the game interested in what is going on.

Dark Stream does not have a specific release date, but you can wishlist the game on Steam ahead of it’s release later this year.
