The Gunnar Davis Glasses are a stylish and sleek set that offers eye protection with a bit of retro flair. With a comfortable wide fitting frame and a choice of two colours you can be sure that there’s a pair available to suit you for work or home life in front of a computer screen.
The pair I received were the Sequoia Davis with amber lenses, it features an almost golden frame mixed with lighter shades of gold across the frame, they are both comfortable to wear and pleasing to look at and, upon donning them, I can notice a considerable difference when working staring at a screen which is exactly what these are for.
The Gunnar Davis glasses also feature smudge and glare resistant lenses which is useful for keeping you focused and not having to clean or wipe your glasses while you’re hard at work; Nothing is worse than opening up a very white excel spreadsheet and noticing all the smudges on your lenses, so having your new ones be resistant is a definite win.
I also have a bit of a big head (Not something you see people saying often) so for the wide frame to be a bit more forgiving is actually really nice as they sit comfortably over my ears and don’t squeeze my head — so that’s top marks for comfort.
I do, personally, wish that the Gunnar Davis were available in a few other colours as although the two available are nice having a bit more choice with the frames would also be nice as there’s not a lot of other colours on offer.
When purchasing them you will also be getting a nice leather glasses case complete with a wipe for your glasses in case something does get on them as well as a microfibre pouch to keep the glasses from rubbing against the case. You also get a 12 year warranty so if anything is wrong you can be sure that Gunnar has you covered.
