Vault Boy Gets A Thumbs Up
I’m sure you’ve noticed, but we’ve become Cable Guys fiends of late, and after covering the Target exclusive Nuka Cola Power Armor Cable Guy, it makes sense that we next go to The Vault Boy phone and controller holder from them.
That’s right, Fallout fans, this time Vault Boy — the Vaulttech Mascot — is here to help you look after, and charge, your devices. Fans of the series will be sure to want him as a desktop companion, or maybe exhibiting his Strength tucked away on a carefully rigged- and wired-up shelf.

My Perception of the Fallout Vault Boy is that it’s a really well made piece considering the bold colours of the character. Of course, that’s kind of to be expected from the brand, here, as these things are made as both decorative and lightly-functional pieces — vs the likes of Funko Pops which are largely designed to simply occupy space.
As with other Cable Guys creations, The Vault Boy is built to last, feeling both sturdy and robust due to it’s solid base (there’s no need to test the Endurance of this Vault-tec mascot).
This model is slightly larger than some of the other Cable Guys models, and it actually comes in slightly larger than the T-51 Nuka-Cola power armour. Although, in a head to head fight it might be better for the Vault Boy to do a Charisma speech check rather than fight.

No need to invest in Intelligence either as this is a sure choice when looking for a premium model that can be used as intended or to add to your other Fallout collectables. Upgrade your Agility and take a closer look in V.A.T.S. to highlight the Vault-tec logo at the base of the stand bringing the look together nicely.
Luck is on your side, as the Fallout Vault Boy is available to purchase from the Cable Guys website, ain’t that just S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
