What’s the 30 second elevator pitch?

A major throwback to Westwood’s Command & Conquer series, excellently delivered to completely capture the graphic, audio, and gameplay styling of those classics.

What do we like most about it?

Simply put, the art style. Initially I thought that the game was a mod project built on original files from the original titles, and there’s certainly people who thought the same in the Steam comments. That said, the developer has replied stating that the game has existed on mobile stores for some time now and there has been no cease-and-desist or takedowns issued on it, which would certainly verify that the game is entirely the work of a very dedicated fan.

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and the early C&C games are certainly games that deserve all the flattery that can be levied at them – they threw the industry into a flutter, making RTS games into a best selling genre due to their high profile and sales.

I’ll be waiting patiently for RedSun to arrive, I have a feeling I’m going to really enjoy my time with it.

When’s it due?

RedSun is already out for Android & iOS devices, PC & Mac will be joining it once the game is greenlit – although there’s no set date for it as of yet.
