Description

Do you know how people think? Can you communicate without words, but through the insinuation of selection, or through deducing what’s left behind? Focus is a fantastic game that’s played without either words or communication. Each player is given a card that shows them a representation of the play-grid and which icon is theirs. After that, both players remove pieces from the board until — in a win condition — only their cards are remaining. Will you communicate through colour, or the absence of colour? Through shape, or the absence of shape? Through purpose or the absence of purpose? That’s up to you.

“Communicate… without a word. A cooperative deduction game for 2 players with 168 unique illustrations, 3 game modes and aimed at beginners as well as experts. All of the illustrations are based on the items in the famous cases from Sherlock Holmes stories.

Both players must guess their partner’s secret picture among a grid of many illustrations while giving clues about their own secret picture.

During each turn, back and forth, a player must pick and remove from the grid a picture they think is not their partner’s secret image. Ideally, the chosen card should give their teammate a clue about their own card.

If at any point, a player removes their partner’s secret card, the game is lost.“
