Mini Boss Babble Episode 9: Part 2 – PUBG

Mini Boss Babble are smaller, one topic cuts from our otherwise extensive weekly podcast.

In this Mini Boss Babble we discuss the ever popular PlayerUnknown BattleGrounds, again.

The segment starts with the news that PUBG’s sales are being reported as having settled as just over a million units a week; The game has undergone a massive sales surge in the last two months, continuously breaking records and even besting Valve’s own titles on their storefront.

The matter of docile-account, or bots, in the game also comes up, a topic which has ignited recently what with scammers setting up extra accounts and then leaving accounts sleeping in game in order to unlock the game’s trade-able crates.

Another topic which arises is the approaching release of the Xbox One version of the game, which is due to happen later this year. The timed-exclusive is set to give Microsoft a major advantage over their competitor Sony. However, when Holiday ’17 rolls around, will people rush to pick up the game on a different console, or will they simply wait for the timed exclusive to expire and grab it on a console they find already have: Can PlayerUnknown BattleGrounds actually sell consoles during it’s exclusivity deal?

Toby leads the topic, while Dann & Terry AFK to scam loot crates.
