Dead End Job to be arriving next February and has a playable demo being shown at EGX Rezzed later this month.

Ant Workshop, developers behind Binaries have announced a new title named, “Dead End Job” that is due to arrive on PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime in February 2018.

The title looks to be a comically vibrant, cartoon looking twin-stick shooter, the artwork being done by Joe Blakestron who has worked with Aardman, BBC, and the RSC. The music has been composed by Will Morton who people may recognise the name from the crew behind GTA series. The story follows an employee working at a company called, “Ghoul-B-Gone”. Basically they’re Ghostbusters but more industrialised. The title sees players fighting against another employee every in-game week for the “Employee of the Week” star award which is awarded based on how much money the employee has made on their ghost hunts.

The title comes announced with a video trailer showcasing some gameplay footage in action, and there will be a playable demo for the title being shown at EGX Rezzed this year. There is also planned to be a Twitch integration system that will allow viewers of the stream to help or hinder the player by choosing their power-ups.

Dead End Job features stunning cartoon-quality high resolution artwork by Joe Blakeston (Aardman, BBC and RSC), inspired by favourites like Ren & Stimpy. As well as an original soundtrack by the award-winning audio designer Will Morton (Grand Theft Auto series). The addition of Twitch integration allows viewers to help or hinder the streamer by choosing their power-ups.
