Terrible Toybox Inc have released a new trailer for Thimbleweed Park, the upcoming point and click title from genre forefathers Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick.
The latest trailer for Thimbleweed Park, as visible below, focuses on Ransome the Clown, a foul-mouthed, cursed clown who is one of the five playable characters in the retro themed adventure.
We also get a few allusions to the story, specifically the plot that Ransome will be trying to advance; recovering the plans for his comeback tour, and stopping the mayor, all done in classic verb based point and click style, in the mysterious titular town.
Thimbleweed Park is set to release for Windows, Mac, Linux and Xbox One soon, with iOS & Android versions already functional and planned for later release. There’s also plans for a PS4 release, although that’ll be after the three-month exclusivity deal with Microsoft expires.
