Terraria Has Sold 20 Million Copies; That Figure Sits 160,000 Away From How Many Blocks Make a Large Map

Re-Logic announced yesterday that their retro inspired, side scrolling, survival title, Terraria has sold over 20 million copies since it launched.

Terraria’s official Twitter account popped a Tweet out announcing the news that the title has sold over 20 million copies since it launched back in 2011. Originally launching on the PC, it found its way to Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita, iOS, and Android devices in 2013 thanks to 505 Games jumping in and porting them out. It continued to spread to Windows Phone, PS4, and Xbox One back in 2014, and then Mac, Linux, and the Nintendo 3DS got the title in 2015, and then 2016 saw it come to the Wii U.

To celebrate, Re-Logic released some facts about the game in their forum post. You can read the full list of facts by going here, I’m going to post my favourite ones though!

When the game was launched it came with only 250 items were available, and now there are 3,800. There were also only 20 enemies at the time it launched, but now there are 350 of the evil things.

There is also talk of future updates that Re-Logic aren’t willing to share right now, but it seems that the title is still going strong.
