New For Honor Trailer Highlights the 9 Classes, Builds up to Beta Date

Ubisoft have released a new trailer for their upcoming swordy-punchy game For Honor.

We’ve not specifically mentioned Ubisoft’s For Honor over here on B3 -sort of a few round-up posts- and its a bit odd to be talking about the game so late in its hype-cycle. The fighting game -a Western take on what happens when Dynasty Warriors and Deadliest Warrior settle down and raise a child, before getting slain by some passing crusaders- looks extremely promising, and alongside other titles coming from Ubisoft including Steep, and Might & Magic Showdown, indicate a developer/publisher that still wants to straddle both roles.

The game’s upcoming beta will feature nine heroes, six maps, and three game modes to play. It’ll also show off the Faction War, a map that changes with the victories of players (as they tried out back in EndWar).

The beta runs from the 26th to the 29th of January, with the game releasing on February 14th for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
