What is it?
A very, and I really mean very, retro styled RPG. We’re very much talking advent of traditional visual RPGs a la early Ultima.
As a matter of fact, fans of such titles should really just go and vote on the game, as you don’t need any convincing from me. It’s as true to those roots as can be, and does well in adding humour and making the most of our more advanced, modern resolution even if it still made in an 8-bit art-style.
Seriously, it’s completely catered to the veterans of such games, with palettes for older platforms as well as a hybrid soundtrack which you can switch between SID or modern music.
When’s it due?
Unknown Realm is listed for December 2017 release for PC & Mac.
