What’s the 30 second elevator pitch?
An interesting 2D Platformer with quirkly enemies, expansive levels, and grapple-hook mechanics.
What do we like most about it?
The thing that made me rewatch the video was the transition from foreground to background at about 16 seconds into the video, it’s smooth and unexpected, and really made me double-take.
I’m also quite partial to a good grapple-hook in a game, although I do have to say the vertical attack looks a bit odd, and the jumping looked at an odd pace. Those quirks aside though, the game looks very interesting.
When’s it due?
Spheroids is currently planned for release in January of 2017. When it launches it will do so for Windows PC.
