The Flame in the Flood: Complete Edition confirmed for early 2017 release.
In a press release The Molasses Flood have confirmed that the PS4 version of The Flame in the Flood – subtitled Complete Edition – will be launching in Early 2017, specifically January.
It’s the first time the title has launched on Sony consoles, with the Xbox One & PC versions launching earlier on this year, in our review of it we commented on the fantastic, post-societal setting stating, “… it had turned from a fable to a post apocalyptic setting, and it made me love it even more.”
For those unfamiliar with the game, it combines the vibe of a road trip with a survival game as you cruise up a deadly river that has flooded and dominated the landscape of a Southern USA State following a collapse of functional society. It’s certainly not an easy game, however it’s beautiful visuals will be more than enough to keep fans of the genre attempting to best it.
The news comes as the developers have agreed on a publishing deal with Curve Digital.
